Your Latest AI Intelligence

The AI newsletter for the rest of us!

There's so much happening in AI across all areas of life that I had way too much information for this newsletter! I almost cut some content because I worried it might overwhelm you, but then I reconsidered and figured I should let you decide for yourself. So pick what interests you. I hope it's not too much to dig through.

We're seeing some fascinating developments, like Zuckerberg investing enormous amounts into a think tank for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), which has brought questions about AI autonomy back to the spotlight, especially given recent evidence that AI can deceive humans when it thinks that will help it achieve its goals (see Rogue AI). I've included some podcast episodes that explore these big questions (see Good AI Listens), from military AI autonomy to how AI may reshape society and the workforce. On the legal front, there are many ongoing lawsuits challenging AI's use of intellectual property (see AI & Law), but we don't often hear about the flip side: artists who are actively partnering with AI to create entirely new expressions of art. That's why I've put together a spotlight on 10 artists whose primary work involves AI as a creative collaborator (see AI Spotlight).

As always, don't miss the Tools and How To section—there's an excellent Stanford platform that lets you build your own Wikipedia page on any topic and actively engage with the AI for your needs, plus several other helpful resources. Also out of Stanford, check out the 2025 AI Index Report (see AI By The Numbers) for a data deep dive into how AI is showing up across all sectors of society. The AI News section is packed with all the items I mentioned and much more. Enjoy exploring, and I hope you can take whatever's most useful for you.

Happy discovery, I’m glad you're here!

Artists are increasingly working with AI as a creative partner, using it to explore new forms of expression and push conventional boundaries. The image below is from Kelly Boesch’s mind blowing AI videos. Be sure to check out the full video HERE and all her art at Kelly Boesch Ai Art - YouTube.

Today's newsletter spotlight features ten visual artists who’ve made AI their creative collaborator.
